SEGUIN, TX - The Mississippi College Choctaws (5-5, 5-3 ASC) piled up 473 rushing yards on 62 carries as they rolled over Texas Lutheran University (4-6, 4-4 ASC) 52-7 in Matador Stadium.
The Choctaw offensive line put two players over 100 yards rushing with
Desmond Mays going for 185 yards on 33 carries and quarterback
Tommy Reyer adding 113 yards on 12 carries. The starting offensive line for the Choctaws was
Jacob Mattina, Jonathan Shaw, Nelson Craddock, Cody Wright and Stephen Andero#.
Mays finishes the season with 1,137 yards and 13 touchdowns, both tops in the American Southwest Conference this season.
The Choctaw defense dominated all afternoon forcing the TLU offense into five turnovers and just 236 yards of total offense. Seventy-seven of those yards came on one play in the first half as Steven Thrash hauled in a touchdown pass from Joel Sheldon.

Brannon Walls also had a big day tying a school and ASC record with four made field goals. Walls was good on kicks of 28, 20, 37 and 22 yards. He tied
Kyle Kruse who was good on four field goals against LaGrange in 2006.
The Choctaws finish the season with three straight wins and tied for third place in the ASC.
