TYLER, TX - The Mississippi College women's tennis team finished the 2010 season with a 5-0 loss to Hardin-Simmons in the semi-finals of the American Southwest Conference Tournament at the Summer Tennis Center on Saturday.
The Cowgirls set the tone for the match by taking all three doubles matches to take an insurmountable 3-0 lead heading into singles play. The #1 team of

Emily Newman just missed stealing a point, falling just 9-8.
HSU only needed two singles wins to clinch the match and they got them at the #3 and #4 positions. Brittany Brazell defeated
Sydney Moak, 6-2, 6-2, before Morgan Rainer finished the match with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over
Marigrace Deloach.
The Lady Choctaws finished the season, 10-7.
