Erin Hederman, Emma Young Named to United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Second Team

CLINTON, Miss. --- The 2023 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-South Region team were recently announced with Mississippi College's Erin Hederman and Emma Young each receiving 2nd team All-South Region honors after their performance on the pitch this season. 

Erin tallied over 840 minutes on the pitch while leading the Lady Choctaws with six goals and eight assists, including breaking the All-Time Career assists record back at home on Oct. 22 versus Lee. Young guided MC defensively, leading the Lady Choctaws with 1244 minutes played while also producing two goals and four assists. 

Both players were named to the D2CCA All-South Region 2nd Team recently with each also being tabbed to the 1st Team All-GSC list.
