On the local level, FCA is an organization at Mississippi College that focuses on influencing athletes and coaches to use their influence for Christ. At MC, our mission is to form an army of believers to disciple and serve every athlete and coach on campus, displaying the love of Christ through our personal faith; being unashamed and transparent with a presence of overflowing joy that sets this campus on fire. We are seeing this mission accomplished by teams being affected by Christ in a visible way, community being developed and encouraged, raising up disciples who are constantly growing and multiplying other disciples and seeing coaches coach biblically.
We have several levels of growth where athletes, coaches and students can get plugged in and grow in their faith. We have weekly huddle meetings for any student which take place in the Rebounder’s Room in the Coliseum Monday nights at 8:30pm. We also have lifegroups for each team where athletes can plug in and live life together learning about God with their teammates. We also have opportunities for one-on-one discipleship for further growth. We have a leadership team which is split up into 5 different teams that lead all of these areas of ministry.

THE FCA STATEMENT OF FAITH
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe the there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
- We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men/women regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
