NEW ORLEANS --- The Mississippi College men's cross country and track and field program are ranked sixth nationally by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. This achievement marks a historic moment for the University, underscoring the program's rise to prominence in the ranks of NCAA Division II athletics.
This prestigious ranking reflects the team's impressive performances across each of the three NCAA Division II National Championship events. The men's team achieved their highest team finish at every national championship. They finished 12th at the cross country championships, 10th at the indoor track and field championships, and 19th at the outdoor track and field championships.
In breaking multiple school records, the three programs continue their meteoric rise, building on its legacy while shaping the future of Choctaw athletics. Mississippi College celebrates these accomplishments as they look forward to the continued success and national recognition of their athletes.
