CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College's
Cade Gadman earned postseason recognition Monday, May 18 after being named to the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-South Region Second Team. The senior was selected as a utility player on the prestigious regional squad, which honors the top performers across NCAA Division II programs in the region.

He is the 10th Choctaws to earn the honor since the program returned to Division II.

A cornerstone of the Choctaws' lineup throughout the 2026 season, Gadman started all 52 games and helped lead MC to a 28-24 overall record and a berth in the Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament. He totaled 98 career starts for the Choctaws, including 71 consecutive.

The Clinton, Miss., native finished the year batting .304 with 66 hits, 35 RBIs and 15 stolen bases while serving as one of the team's most consistent all-around contributors. He ranked third on the team in hits and was one of only three Choctaws to appear and start in every game during the season. He also added nine doubles and scored 34 runs while posting a .349 on-base percentage.

The D2CCA All-Region teams are selected by sports information directors from NCAA Division II institutions across the region. Players selected to the first team advance to the national ballot for All-America consideration.
