CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi Christian University begins another busy week of competition, with the Choctaws taking part in events across Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The week includes home soccer action, road conference competition for volleyball, the continuation of fall competition for men's and women's tennis and men's golf, and the men's soccer team's exhibition finale.
Men's Soccer Hosts Blue Mountain Christian
The Choctaws will host Blue Mountain Christian University on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in an exhibition featuring the junior varsity squads.
The exhibition gives Mississippi Christian an opportunity to continue developing its roster and provide additional playing opportunities as the fall season progresses.
Women's Soccer Hosts Valdosta State
Mississippi Christian women's soccer returns home Wednesday, hosting Valdosta State at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field.
The Choctaws will look to continue their strong start to the season against the Blazers. The match will be streamed live on FloCollege, with live statistics available through the Mississippi Christian Athletics website.
Volleyball Opens GSC Play at West Alabama
Mississippi Christian volleyball hits the road Friday for its first Gulf South Conference match of the season, traveling to Livingston, Alabama, to face West Alabama at 6 p.m.
The Choctaws will look to carry their 3-0 sweep of Augusta over the weekend into conference play against the Tigers.
Soccer Heads to Nashville
Both Mississippi Christian soccer teams will travel to Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday to face Trevecca Nazarene.
The women's team will play at 1 p.m., followed by the men's team at 3:30 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live on FloCollege.
Fall Competition Continues for Golf and Tennis
Mississippi Christian's men's golf team continues its fall schedule at the Savannah Lakes Invitational in McCormick, South Carolina.
The Choctaws' men's and women's tennis teams will also compete at the Glen Arven Tournament in Thomasville, Georgia, as both programs continue their fall competition.
With golf and tennis currently in their fall seasons, the week's events serve as opportunities for the Choctaws to gain competitive experience and prepare for their respective championship seasons later in the academic year.
Mississippi Christian will be represented throughout the week across multiple sports as the Choctaws continue their fall competition schedule.
