CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi Christian Athletics enters another busy week of fall competition, with men's golf, men's and women's tennis, volleyball and men's and women's soccer all in action.

The week begins with the men's golf team competing at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview Monday and Tuesday in Saint Leo, Florida. The event gives the Choctaws an opportunity to compete against regional competition as they continue their fall schedule.

Men's and women's tennis will compete in the Gulf South Conference Individuals beginning Friday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The individual event gives both programs an opportunity to compete against GSC competition during the fall portion of their schedules.

Volleyball returns to the court Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Union in Jackson, Tennessee. The Choctaws then travel to Huntsville, Alabama, Friday for a 6 p.m. matchup against Alabama Huntsville.

Saturday features a full slate of competition for MC.

Women's and men's cross country will compete locally at the Belhaven Cross Country Invitational in Clinton. Both races begin at 8 a.m.

The cross country teams will also have runners competing at the Louisville Cross Country Classic in Louisville, Kentucky, beginning at 9 a.m.

Back home, women's soccer hosts Auburn Montgomery at 1 p.m. at Robert P. Longabaugh Field before volleyball travels to Montevallo for a 2 p.m. match.

The men's soccer team closes the day at home against AUM at 3:30 p.m.

With competition spread across several sports and locations, the week provides another opportunity for the Choctaws to build momentum heading deeper into the fall season.
