started all 42 games for the Choctaws...earned First Team All-ASC honors...led the team with a .417 batting average and 10 home runs...led the ASC in hits (70) and home runs (10), while finishing second in runs scored (51), total bases (111) and on-base percentage (.505)...also finished with seven doubles, two triples and 44 RBIs...stole 11 bases on 12 attempts

BEFORE MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
redshirted his freshman year at Delta State University...played for Coach Sid Naron at Mississippi Delta Community College...batted .370 with 11 doubles, three triples, five home runs, and 27 RBI...recorded a .531 on base percentage and a .614 slugging percentage...earned First Team All-State and First Team All-District honors...played for Coach Ronnie White at Starkville Academy... four-time All-Conference and three-time All-Area selection...2007 Commercial Dispatch All-Area Player of the Year...selected to the MPSA All-Star Team and All-State Team in 2007...set the home run record at Dizzy Dean High School World Series in 2004 and again in 2006...team's most valuable player and best offensive player for consecutive seasons...also played football at Starkville Academy earning First Team All-State honors twice as a defensive end...led the MPSA in sacks as a junior on a state championship team
