CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College head football coach John Bland and his staff would like to formally invite Mississippi College faculty, staff, students, alumni and the Clinton community to a National Signing Day Celebration on Wednesday, February 6th.

The event will be held in Anderson Hall above the cafeteria from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm.

"The recruiting class we are fully expecting to sign on Wednesday is the best we have had since coming to MC in 2014," Bland said. "We have some real difference makers coming in that will make an immediate impact on this program."

The celebration is set to start at 4:00 p.m. with Assistant A.D. for Athletic Communications David Nichols making some opening remarks about the itinerary of the event before blessing the complementary refreshments for those in attendance.

Coach Bland, along with other members of his staff, will periodically address the crowd about the mid-year signees, who will be in attendance, as well as, the student-athletes that are signing their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

Patrons are encouraged to stay as long as they like at the come-and-go event, meet the MC Football Staff and mid-year signees and help celebrate the Mississippi College football program.

The 2019 football season is set to open on Saturday, September 7th in Lorman, Miss. against Alcorn State University.
