CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College Student-Athletes of the Week sponsored by Performance Therapy are Rashad Bolden and Karly Ivy.
 
Ivy finished second on the team in scoring and third in rebounds last weekend. The Denton, Texas, native posted the highest field goal percentage with more than 15 attempts, including a .500 clip from behind the arc – the highest among any Choctaw. She also added five steals, a block and seven assists. The five swipes and seven dimes were tops among the team.
 
Bolden led the scoring effort for MC in Friday's loss at West Alabama, contributing 17 points on the night. On Sunday, Bolden played 36 minutes on the court, going 6-of-17 from the field goal, hitting one three-pointer out of eight attempts, 4-of-4 from the free throw line, while also grabbing seven rebounds - 4 offensive and 3 defensive rebounds, and seven assists.
 
The Choctaw basketball programs return to action on Sunday, Dec. 31 as it hosts Shorter in Gulf South Conference action. The women tip-off at 2 p.m. with the men to follow at 4 p.m.
