CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College softball series at Shorter has been pushed back to a Saturday-Sunday set due to rain in the Rome, Ga. area.
The teams will play a single game on Saturday (Mar. 7) at 4:00 p.m. (Central) with a doubleheader on Sunday (Mar. 8) at 11:00 a.m. (Central).
The Lady Choctaws (12-7, 3-3 GSC) are 9-6 all-time against the Hawks (2-10, 1-5 GSC), including a three-game sweep in Clinton last year where MC outscored Shorter, 23-0.

Mississippi College is a private Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. MC recently finished their transition process back to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference and began competing for conference and national championships in the 2016-17 academic year.
