CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men and women's outdoor track and field teams continued to add to its trophy case as it combined for 37 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-South Region honors.

Daviciea McCartney led the way with six all-region laurels. The Garland, Texas, native grabbed honors in the men's triple and long jump, 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles as well as a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay team.

Fabio Palmieri added five all-region nods as he joined McCartney on the two relay teams and added awards in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters.
Rakeem Wilson collected four all-region laurels with nods in the 100 and 200 meters and alongside McCartney and Palmieri on the relay teams.

Tytavia Hardy led the way on the women's side. The Pensacola, Fla., product is a four-time all-region selection as she grabbed honors in the triple, long and high jump as well as the 100-meter hurdles.
Jazmin Hernandez joined Hardy with multiple all-region laurels. The Georgetown, Texas, native is a three-time all-region selection as she brought home honors in the 800 meters, 1,500 meters and 10,000 meters.

Al Ferrill collected all-region accolades in the men's hammer, discus and shot put. He was joined by fellow throwing mates
A.B. Williams and
Damon Wright. Williams is all-region in the discus and shot put while Wright grabbed honors in the shot put to complete the trio.

Gabe Poulin grabbed all-region laurels in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters.
Evan del Rio picked up all-region in the 3,000 steeplechase while
Jake Russell was named all-region in the 800 meters and
Ben Woolhouse in the men's pole vault.
Will Grames and
Dalton Dempsey collected all-region accolades, as well, Grames with the 4x100 relay while Dempsey's came on the 4x4 relay.

Emma Langley joined Hernandez with all-region honors in the women's 800 while
Marina Rizk is all-region in the women's pole vault.

McCartney, Wilson, Dempsey and Palmieri along with Hardy have all qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Allendale, Mich., at Grand Valley State University. McCartney opens action for Mississippi College in the men's 400-hurdles preliminaries on Thursday, May 27. The men's 4x400 relay team competes on Friday, May 28 in the prelims. Finals for both events are slated for Saturday, May 29. Hardy competes in the women's triple jump championships on Friday, May 28.
