CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College outdoor track and field continues to add to its trophy case as the spring season concludes as six student-athletes garnered United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-America honors.
Daviciea McCartney led the way for the Choctaws as he picked first team all-America laurels in the 400-meter hurdles and as a member of the men's 4x400-relay team. The Garland, Texas, native finished fifth nationally in the 400 hurdles as he turned in a time of 50.96 – a career-high for the freshman.

Will Grames,
Fabio Palmieri and
Rakeem Wilson each grabbed all-America accolades as the foursome finished eighth with a time of 3:11.77, a best for the unit this season. The quartet posted a time of 3:13.79 on Friday, May 28 to claim its heat and finish second during the prelims.
Tytavia Hardy finished 11th at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships in the triple jump. The Pensacola, Fla., product posted a leap of 40' 3.25", which garnered her second team all-America status.
Student-athletes earned First-Team USTFCCCA All-American honors by virtue of finishing among the top-eight in their respective events – including as a member of a relay team – at this past weekend's outdoor championship meet. Second-team selections were given to those athlete who finished in spots ninth-12th in individual events.
