CLINTON, Miss. --- Senior Blaine Crim and sophomore McKenzie Hargrove have been named Mississippi College Renasant Bank Athletes of the Week, it was announced on Monday (April 22).

Crim (Mobile, Ala.) posted a .533 batting average for the week as he went 8-for-15 with nine RBI and four extra base hits, including a double and two home runs. Crim matched a career-high with seven RBI in the series-opening win at West Alabama and collected his 18th and Gulf South Conference-leading double of the season.

The program's career doubles leader stands tied for fourth in single-season doubles. His 54 doubles this season leads the GSC and ranks seventh in a single-season.

Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, April 27 as it hosts Delta State University.

McKenzie Hargrove set a program record in the women's 5,000 meters at the Louisiana State University Alumni Gold Invitational. Hargrove posted a time of 18:13.86 to finish sixth among all divisions in the event.

Hargrove surpassed fellow teammate Madeline Campbell, who set the school record last year with a time of 18:18.00 at the Rhodes College 7-Way Meet.

Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, April 27 as it travels to Hattiesburg, Miss., and the Southern Mississippi Open.
