CLINTON, Miss. --- With the threat of inclement weather in Monticello, Ark., Tuesday's non-conference game between Mississippi College and the University of Arkansas at Monticello has been postponed.
With the announcement of the postponement, The Choctaws will host UAM on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in a single, nine-inning contest and return the trip to Monticello, Ark., on Tuesday, Apr. 7. First pitch for both contests is set for 3 p.m.
Following the midweek contest, Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 20 as it hosts Quincy (Ill.) University in a three-game series. First pitch of Saturday's twinbill is set for 1 p.m. with Sunday's finale also marked for a 1 p.m. start.
Mississippi College is a private Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. MC recently finished their transition process back to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference and began competing for conference and national championships in the 2016-17 academic year.
