CLINTON, Miss. --- Due to the threat of inclement weather on Tuesday, March 8, the Mississippi College baseball game against No. 19 Arkansas Tech University has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 9. First pitch is 3 p.m. at Dickins-Scoper Stadium, Frierson Field.

The non-conference outing against the Wonder Boys is the second this season. The Green and Gold claimed a 9-3 victory over the Choctaws earlier this season in Russellville, Ark.

Mississippi College enters the midweek contest on the heels of knocking off No. 1 Tampa, 4-3, in the series finale with the Spartans. The victory is the first over a top five team since April 29, 2018 when the Choctaws upended No. 3 Delta State University.

Following Wednesday's action, Mississippi College returns to Gulf South Conference action as it travels to the Yellowhammer State as it faces Auburn University at Montgomery in a weekend series. First pitch of the doubleheader on Saturday, March 12 is scheduled for 1 p.m.
