This Week in Choctaw Athletics

This week, the Mississippi College athletics teams are on the move, with the Women's Golf team competing in Hattiesburg and the Men's Golf team in Rockwall, Texas. Meanwhile, volleyball wraps up a home stretch against Montevallo, and both soccer teams gear up for their final home matches of the season.

Monday October, 28th
Women's Golf 
After taking a week off, the Mississippi College Women's Golf team will head down south to compete in Hattiesburg, Miss., in The Judson. The University of Southern Mississippi is hosting this event at the Hattiesburg Country Club. The Choctaws will be competing with nine other schools which are all Division I schools. Tee time is set for 8 am.

Men's Golf 
After traveling to Duncan, Okla., last week, the Mississippi College Men's Golf team will be heading Rockwall, Texas to compete in the DBU Classic. Dallas Baptist Univeristy is hosting this event at the Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club. The first tee is set for 8:30 am.

Tuesday October, 29th
Women's Golf 
The Women's Golf team continues their trip in Hattiesburg to compete in The Judson. The Choctaws are the only Division II school in the tournament. Tee time is set for 8 am

Men's Golf 
The Men's Golf team continues their trip in Rockwall to compete in the DBU Classic. This event will be at the Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club. The first tee is schedule for 8:30 am.

Volleyball 
The Mississippi College Volleyball team will finish their six game home stretch by hosting the University of Montevallo. The Choctaws have already face the Falcons earlier this season and was successful. This game will be our Halloween game so dress in your best Halloween costume. The first serve is set for 6 pm.

Wednesday October, 30th
Women's Basketball 
The Mississippi College Women's Basketball team will start their season in Hattiesburg, Miss. to face the University of Southern Mississippi in an exhibition. This is the second year in a row that the Choctaws are facing the Eagles. Tip-off is set for 6 pm at Reed Green Coliseum. 

Thursday October, 31st
Volleyball 
After hosting six straight home matches, the Mississippi College Volleyball team will be traveling to Cleveland, Tenn. to face Lee University. The Choctaws will be facing the Flames for the second time this season with the Lady Choctaws up 1-0. The first serve is set for 5 pm at Paul Dana Walker Arena.

Friday November, 1st 
Men and Women's Tennis 
Both tennis programs are traveling down the road to Jackson, Miss. to compete in the JSU Invitational. This is an all day event and this is the last event for the fall semester for both programs. 

Women's Soccer 
After traveling to Tennessee last weekend, the Mississippi College Women's Soccer team will be home hosting Voldosta State University. This is the second to last match of the regular second for the Lady Choctaws. Kickoff is set for 1 pm at Robert P. Longabaugh Field.

Men's Soccer 
The Mississippi College Men's Soccer team will be back in Clinton, Miss to host their last two games of the regular season. The University of Montevallo will be coming to the Magnolia State. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm at Robert P. Longabaugh Field

Volleyball 
The Mississippi College Volleyball team will continue their travel in the Volunteer State by going to Nashville, Tenn to face Trevecca Nazerene University. The Choctaws hosted the Trojans and were successful. The first serve is set for 6 pm at the Trojan Fieldhouse.

Saturday November, 2nd
Men and Women's Tennis 
Both teams head back to Jackson, Miss. for the second day of the JSU Invitational. This is the last match for the fall semester for both programs. 

Baseball 
The Mississippi College Baseball will host Northwest Shaols Community College to Clinton, Miss. This is the last fall game for the Choctaws. The first pitch is set for 2 pm at Frierson Field

Sunday November, 3rd
Men and Women's Tennis 
Both programs are finishing their time in Jackson, Miss. as they compete at the JSU Invitational. This is the last match for the fall semester for both programs. 

Women's Soccer 
The Lady Choctaws will host Auburn University at Montgomery to Robert P. Longabaugh Field. This is the last home match for the Lady Choctaws. Kickoff is set for 1 pm.
