CLINTON, Miss. --- Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Mississippi College-Shorter University baseball series schedule has been altered.
 
The series, originally scheduled to begin on Friday, March 22, opens on Saturday, March 23 with a single game and closes out the series on Sunday, March 24.
 
MC, which is riding a four-game slide entering the weekend, looks to pick up its first win in Rome, Ga., since March 6, 2020. SU holds the all-time series lead, 14-9, and claimed six of the last eight meetings, including the last two on its home field. The Blue and Gold are 4-5 at Ledbetter Baseball Complex.
 
First pitch on Saturday is slated for 1 p.m. while the Sunday twinbill is etched for an 11 a.m. start. Both times are listed as central.
