FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. --- Mississippi College men's golf finished 14th at the Shark Invitational with a total score of 881 on Tuesday, March 24 at the Grande Oaks Golf Club. The event featured a highly competitive field, with 11 teams ranked in the SCOREBOARD Top 50, including 6 in the top 25 and 3 in the top 15.

Ben Eichelberger led the Choctaws as he finished tied for 50th with a total score of 220 (+7). His performance was consistent, recording rounds of 74 (+3) in the first round, followed by 73 (+2) in both the second and third rounds.Â

Zach Robertson tied for 55th, completing the tournament with a score of 221 (+8). Robertson started strong with a 70 (-1) in the first round but faced challenges in the final round, carding a 79 (+8).Â

Todd Mckie tied for 58th with a total score of 222 (+9). After a tough start with a 78 (+7) in the first round, Mckie recovered with a round of 71 (E) and concluded with a 73 (+2).Â

Joao Iglesias ended tied for 66th at 225 (+12). Iglesias opened with a 74 (+3), followed by rounds of 76 (+5) and 75 (+4), showing improvement in each subsequent round.
Jack Mckie turned in a 226 (+13) to finish tied for 69th, including back-to-back rounds of 74 (+3) and closing play with a 78 (+7).
No. 4 Florida Southern claimed the team title, shooting a 831 led by Colton Swartz with 202 (-11), who claimed the top individual spot. No. 15 Nova Southeastern finished second with 835 (-17) and No. 16 Barry and No. 27 Flagler tied for third 843 (-9).Â
