OLD HICKORY, Tenn. --- Mississippi College men's golf placed ninth at the Music City Invitational with a final score of 858, highlighted by
Zach Robertson tying for ninth individually with a 209 total over three rounds.
The team improved steadily over the rounds, shooting 288, 289, and 281. Robertson led the team, tying for ninth overall with a total score of 209, including two rounds of 69.
Todd Mckie also contributed significantly, finishing tied for 22nd with a total of 212, highlighted by a strong final round of 69.
Ben Eichelberger finished tied for 46th, shooting a consistent 218, with his best performance coming in the final round with an even-par 70.
Owen Wallace and Joao Iglesias rounded out the team's effort, finishing tied for 53rd and 62nd respectively. Wallace posted consistent rounds of 73, while Iglesias improved each day, finishing with a 73 in the final round.
MC now sets its sights on the Gulf South Conference Championships, March 14 in Tunica, Miss.
